Power of photography

Photographers use their cameras as a tool of discovery, a passport to an inner sanctuary, a tool of change. Their photographs prove that photography is important – now more than ever

Three or four years before the publication of the magazine, the Danish philosopher Dr Soren Kierkegaard predicted the bland fate of the newly popular art of photography. Today’s photography has become a global frozen framework. Upload millions of photos per minute. So, everyone is a subject and knows the subject – now we’re going to be on the endangered species list any day. It is in this ultra-egalitarian, quasi-orville, fully camera-ready “land hero” that national geographic photographers continue to stand out. I’ve seen the Madison county bridge – I see, I’m not in pain. But I am also often attracted by the work of national geographic photographers. Everything I see is admirable and unenviable. Our photographers spent years immersed in the lonely world of sami reindeer herders, Japanese geisha and New Guinea birds. The results of these promises can be seen in their photographs. For those who trust strangers, their sense of responsibility for a quiet world is not obvious. Abandoning the manipulation of the lens is a high-risk and time-consuming proposition, but soul on both sides of the lens cooperation.

Conscience is another feature that binds these photographers. Experience the holy bay. But they also increasingly document our desire for homogeneous societies, species and landscapes. The magazine’s latest explorers are often responsible for photographing a generation of places and creatures that can only live on these pages. How do you leave? If my colleague suffers from a common addiction, it’s to use the influence of this iconic magazine to save the planet. Does that sound interesting? Ask a Swiss gold trader. In a world that seems to collapse, can these eyes still penetrate the chaos and tell us a sense of urgency about the dangerous beauty of the world we live in? I think the problem will be solved by itself.
